SEPTEMBER 30, 2019 USA TOUR BEGINS
In the U. S. I am at home in the "Big Apple" City of New York .... And it is a lot of strange fun to be in that melting pot of all things playing music and struggling to get somebody's undivided attention for one's ego as well as a divided content of his purse for one's admiral's collection hat.
The best place to unpack your guitar, accordeon and your vocal cords has always been the Washington Square in the Downtown area of Manhattan. The 2nd place would secure for itself most likely a variety of spots in the Central Park including Columbus Circle at its SW corner, not too far from the Metropolitan Opera House ....
Oh, I must not forget several great Subway Stations, like the 42nd Street one, and a variety of music clubs and restaurants in Greenwich Village and Soho. If you are lucky to strike a good relationship with the owner, that is ... Well, [:New York;] is a song made famous a couple of decades ago by Frank Sinatra and I am singing it as one of the all-time greats to this day ....

This oversea project went quite well last year and I would have to write a book .... Only a few encounters with money-hungry Czech police brought a few dark clouds onto the aerosol-sprayed skies .... until I learned not to carry any money on me, to have an excuse for not having my passport on me either, and to wear a broad but firm and determined smile on my face.
Only once they decide to take me to their police station in their car inclu- ding my big, 150-lb hand truck with all my equipment. You bet that we all suffered some injuries, bruises and scratches .... and I came home at 5 in the morning. I did not pay a penny though because that evening I had only started and in my hat was merely a cobble stone but no money at all to their sizeable disenchantment and disappointment (But, I confess, I was in the wrong, non-musical spot, by the way, that is why. However, there was no sign whatsoever to tell me. So whose fault was it, anyway?).
